I had a person ask me while I was in Sudbury, Ontario "What is Ontario's Dirty Little Secret"? I told them about the Ontario Crown Ward Class Action

Monday, 1 September 2014

On July 15, 2014 my mom and I both decided to attend this pride event in Sudbury, Ontario.

Ontario is also agreeing to a new transgender policy on preventing discrimination because of gender identity and gender expression.

Pride is political to me because I know that children were and probably still are experiencing discrimination while in the care of the Children's Aid in Ontario because they are transgender.

On August 20, 2014, Brenda Everall emailed Barbara Hall and CC me in the email.

Please read the message she sent here:

Who is producing the homeless population? Its the Children's Aid. I am not a street person no more... but I think people should know who is producing 3/4 of the homeless population...
Were ending up in jail or on the streets or dead... while these government's, social worker's, police's children get to go to college all we get is a life of abuse, abandonment...its disgusting...The government, police, drop in centers, shelters, juvie jail and adult jails... all are making money exploiting these kids.. Everyone benefits from the foster care system.... but the kids... and that is sick and disgusting.
On May 7, 2014 I met with this survivor and another survivor at the Daisy Consulting Group in downtown Toronto, Ontario. I am friends with this survivor and she told me that she told the media more information but they edited it out. This survivor received media training on May 7, 2014 and her story with the media was published on May 24, 2014. She posted on Facebook: "the media lefted a lot out.."
The year I aged out of foster care I was interviewed by Margo Kelly a reporter at CBC NEWS. Hear the interview on my youtube account. I participated in this CBC news interview because Ms. Cooke at the child advocacy office in Toronto, Ontario asked me to be interviewed and I agreed. I was living in Timmins, Ontario at the time of the interview. I was born in Timmins, Ontario. I participated in this CBC news interview because Ms. Cooke at the child advocacy office in Toronto, Ontario asked me to be interviewed and I agreed I asked Ms. Cooke to be anonymous because I feared the CAS would hear the interview and I feared reprisal. I used the name Dave instead of my birth name. Journalists from –CBC- covered up the real situation of children in "GROUP HOMES" At the time of the interview, I did not even know how to use a laptop. Now I do and well I uploaded the video and instead of calling it what they called it "Kids see group home as jail". I called it the group home that I was specifically talking about while being interviewed and that group home is shut down now but it was called Northern Lights programs group home. The doors have closed, but the pain remains.
